Robert started
Benchmark and has over 25 years experience in
estimating, construction and programming. Robert has
prepared hundreds of major infrastructure estimates in
various countries, his vast experience demonstrated by
his status as an Independent Expert for Transit New
Zealand’s major projects. Robert is the driving force
in Benchmark’s product development. His particular
passion is to make estimating faster and more enjoyable
for our users.

Lynda MacDonald
Director / Financial Director
Lynda has over
20 years experience running various businesses. Lynda
is focussed on the strategic and financial management of
the Company. Lynda instils our key values of
integrity, respect, and an enjoyable work environment.
She also insists on innovation and is continually
looking for better of ways of doing business.

John Vagg
Systems Analyst
John has 25
years experience in programming and has been with
Benchmark since its conception. John has an
excellent understanding of the estimating processes and
many other aspects of business operations. John also
has an excellent understanding of IT networks, and has
installed and maintained many networks for other
businesses in the past.

Nigel Watts
Marketing Manager
Nigel has
over 10 years experience and has been with Benchmark for
over 5 years. Prior to Benchmark Nigel was
involved in product development and customer support
roles with some of the most sophisticated software
systems in Australia. Nigel is focussed on long-term
client satisfaction, the continual development of the
software and the introduction of new and exciting
market-leading features.

Amy-Ruth MacDonald
UK
Business Development Manager
Amy-Ruth has
worked for Benchmark, in various roles, for the last 6
years. In January, 2005, Amy-Ruth took up residence in
the UK and opened the UK office in Manchester. She has
been a driving force in the successful expansion of
Benchmark Estimating Software. She majored in
Information Systems, during her commerce degree, and has
a broad knowledge of business management and business
systems. Amy-Ruth possesses the core values of the
Benchmark organisation – integrity, respect for our
clients and a strong work ethic.

Daniel Brown
Head Programmer
Daniel has been
with Benchmark for over 3 years and is a key member of
the team. Daniel is one of our Benchmark developers and
is also one of our main technical support contact.

Simon
Trainer / Implementer
Simon has been
associated with Benchmark for many years and joined the
team full time in 2005 to assist with client’s training
and implementation needs.
