Installing Benchmark on a Standalone PC
If you install Benchmark on a standalone PC we recommend
a minimum of the following system requirements
> Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, 2003 Server
> Pentium IV computer 1GHz
> Memory 512MB
> Hard disk drive with a minimum of 100 MB of free space
> Screen Resolution of 1024 x 768 (16 bit or 32 bit)
Installing Benchmark on a Local Area Network
(LAN)
You can install Benchmark on a LAN by installing
the application on each licensee’s PC and place
your data file on a central server. On each PC
you very simply point each licensee to your
central data file.
The system requirements for each PC are as
above. The system requirements for your server
and network in these situations depends on many
factors such as what other applications you have
installed. Generally speaking, any reasonably
modern LAN and server will have no problems
running Benchmark.
Installing Benchmark over Windows Terminal Services or
Citrix
For optimum use in these environments, Benchmark even
offers you a feature that turns of some of its
background screen colours for optimum performance.
